SMAW
- AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEELS
316L
Description
Basic coated electrode for 316L austenitic stainless steels
Excellent performance at pressure from -120 ° C to 350 ° C. It is used for the welding and surfacing of austenitic steels of the AISI 316 series. Its structure has the characteristic of resisting the chemical aggressions caused by acids and atmospheric agents. The deposited alloy is resistant to marine corrosion. It is widely used in the chemical, petrochemical, refinery and shipbuilding industries. Ease of slag removal reduces post-welding cleaning operations to a minimum.
