Description
Bronze Alloy Rod with Tin
Recommended rod for high-strength welding on phosphor bronze. The deposit is characterized by high tensile strength and hardness, thanks to the presence of tin (7–9%). Used for overlays on cast iron or steel, joining dissimilar metals, repairs, and production of valves, bushings, gears, propellers. Preheating and the use of a Cu-Sn alloy are recommended. Ideal for joint welding of Cu-Zn alloy with steel.
