Description
Tin bronze alloy rod
This solid rod is developed for the homogeneous welding of a wide range of copper-based alloys and for the heterogeneous welding of carbon steels or cast irons. The higher tin content enhances mechanical properties and wear resistance, while also expanding the solidification temperature range during the deposition of the weld metal (requires preheating below approximately 200 °C). Also suitable for welding overlays on steel components. Not recommended for stainless steels due to embrittlement caused by Cr uptake.
