Description
Controlled ferrite basic coated electrode for 316L base materials used in cryogenic applications
Its basic coating ensures excellent positional welding characteristics with good gap bridging ability. The weld pool and slag are easy to control and facilitate the achievement of a clean bead surface even in narrow preparations and in root pass. Ease of slag removal reduces post-welding cleaning operations to a minimum. These electrodes are used for Mo bearing austenitic stainless type 316L used in cryogenic applications (down to -196°C). Mainly applications include pipework and vessel for cryogenic service.
