AlMn
Application
Used for joining aluminum alloys, including broken or other casting parts, this welding material is also well-suited for cladding or rebuilding components. It excels in welding dissimilar grades of aluminum, making it versatile for various applications such as storage tanks, truck and trailer parts, chemical tanks, and food equipment. The inclusion of manganese enhances strength and ductility, providing excellent corrosion resistance. Characterized by very good weldability with optimal penetration and a deposit free of porosity, this electrode features a unique self-lifting slag and an improved coating to resist moisture pick-up. Overall, it offers increased strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance, making it an ideal choice for a range of aluminum welding applications.
Alloy Type
Aluminum alloyed with Manganese, copper, silicon, and magnesium.
