Description
Rod with 9% Cr-1% Mo for high-temperature service
Rod formulated for welding of P91 type alloy steels and steels intended for pressurized hydrogen service, with specific reference to petroleum refineries operating at high temperatures and for prolonged periods, up to about 650 °C. The addition of Nb, V, and N significantly improves creep resistance compared to traditional 9% Cr and 1% Mo steels.
