Description

Rod for high-temperature applications, dissimilar joints, and overlay.
High carbon version (0.04–0.08%) of 309 stainless steels, developed for high-temperature service applications on similar heat-resistant steels, both rolled and forged or cast, as well as for heat-resistant Cr-Si-Al ferritic steels. It is widely used in annealing and quenching plants, steam boiler construction, and in the crude oil and ceramics sectors. The austenitic deposit contains about 8% ferrite. These rods are suitable for applications involving oxidizing gas attack and offer oxidation resistance up to +1000 °C.

Description

Application

GMAW wire designed for welding heat-resistant rolled steels, forgings, and castings. It is also suitable for heat-resistant CrSiAl ferritic steels, commonly used in annealing and quenching plants, in steam boiler construction, and in the crude oil and ceramics sectors. This product is ideal for applications involving exposure to oxidizing gases, thanks to its high oxidation resistance, up to temperatures of +1000 °C. It is designed for high-temperature applications and is particularly suitable for welding dissimilar joints and overlays. Preheating and interpass temperatures between 200 and 300 °C are recommended for ferritic steels.
