Description
Low-alloy solid wire for high yield strength steels
Low-alloy solid wire with Ni-Cr-Mo, designed for welding high yield strength steels, with tensile strength exceeding 770 MPa. It ensures excellent mechanical properties of the weld metal and outstanding impact toughness even at low temperatures, down to –60 °C depending on the shielding gas used.
It is recommended for heavy steel structures, offshore construction, chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as for the production of high-strength low-alloy steels. Typical applications include the manufacture of industrial machinery, earth-moving equipment, cranes, trucks, and other components requiring high mechanical performance.
The product is optimized for GMAW/GTAW applications, including orbital welding, thanks to the specific HQ technology that guarantees deep and consistent surface cleanliness.
