Application
This specialized product is meticulously developed for the purpose of welding and cladding heat-resistant, fully austenitic steels, along with similar alloyed steel casts. It stands out by providing a weld deposit that not only maintains its scale resistance but also exhibits remarkable durability up to temperatures as high as 1000°C. Noteworthy features include robust resistance to thermal shock and fatigue. Originating from the family of 800 type alloys, this product distinguishes itself through elevated chromium and nickel contents. This unique composition translates to improved carburization and oxidation resistance, making it a preferred choice for demanding applications. Applications range from welding centrifugally cast pyrolysis coils to reformer tubes, return bends, and tees. The alloy's exceptional performance in resisting harsh environmental conditions positions it as a reliable solution for critical components in high-temperature environments, ensuring longevity and efficiency in demanding industrial settings.
