When Sports and Social Commitment are Corporate Values
The impact of a company often extends beyond mere economic aspects. In the case of DAIKO, this social impact is reflected in corporate values that focus on youth and sports, and the sponsorship of events dedicated to them. Demonstrating DAIKO's role in initiatives supporting youth and sports, the company recently contributed to the seventh edition of the International Women's Volleyball Tournament, called Easter Cup 2024, organized by the BP Team Volley Este-Monselice association and endorsed by the City of Monselice and the Municipality of Este, which hosted the matches in their gyms. The tournament took place on the 29th and 30th of March and involved 24 teams from Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Trentino-Alto Adige, and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, featuring over 500 athletes aged between 10 and 17 years. The participants competed in Under 13, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 categories. It was a significant event for volleyball enthusiasts to meet, compete, and share fun moments together. A shared success achieved in practice, thus placing DAIKO at the forefront in providing support to ensure positive opportunities for youth engagement and sports. Because a company is not just a balance sheet, but also a social nexus that can network with the territory, with the surrounding community, and with the goals, both sporting and otherwise, of the new generations.
